“For Everything Flora, Go To Allora”… when you hear these words you know that they are coming from one of Darwin’s greatest icons, Estelle Cornell. A self-made successful businesswoman, born in outback Queensland who moved to Darwin 33 years ago and 18 years ago started her business as a way of generating income for their young family. She is passionate, enthusiastic, energetic and colorful even when she is not in her award winning garden centre.

I have been a chef for 19 years, and worked for Estelle since 2008. I got interested in growing bonsais and thought about doing my studies in horticulture. My specialties are bonsai and edible plants.

My name is Alex, I was born in Italy.
I frequented the school of Art Course Majoring in Architecture. I have been working in horticulture since 2009. At the beginning of 2011 I worked in a nursery specialized of Native Plants from W.A. In the same year I started to work at Allora Gardens Nursery. I have experience in landscaping and irrigation.
