“For Everything Flora, Go To Allora”… when you hear these words you know that they are coming from one of Darwin’s greatest icons, Estelle Cornell. A self-made successful businesswoman, born in outback Queensland who moved to Darwin 33 years ago and 18 years ago started her business as a way of generating income for their young family. She is passionate, enthusiastic, energetic and colorful even when she is not in her award winning garden centre.

Peta started at Allora gardens nursery at 15 years of age as an apprentice in 2008 while doing year 11 and 12 studies. After she completed that she went on to further her studies in horticulture. In which she completed a 3 year course and is now qualified as a certificate 3 horticulturalist. Her skills include propagation, potting/growing, customer service, fertilizing, pruning, plant displays, landscape planning and designing.
My name is Alex, I was born in Italy. I frequented the school of Art Course Majoring in Architecture. I have been working in horticulture since 2009. At the beginning of 2011 I worked in a nursery specialized of Native Plants from W.A. In the same year I started to work at Allora Gardens Nursery. I have experience in landscaping and irrigation.
Born and raised in Italy, after her schooling in Milan, Clara decided to leave the city and move in Tuscany, where she completed a degree course in Plant Nursery Technique at the University of Florence. After the degree she continued studying Garden design, becoming a qualified gardener in historical gardens restoration and maintenance.
After a year of collaboration with a landscape architect, she realized that her calling was not to stay in front of a computer screen and started work in a private Villa like gardener for two years. After that she works in a garden center - plant nursery for two years before deciding to come to Australia to built a new future.
