Very fast growing small type Lilly Pilly (Australian Native)
The perfect privacy creator!
Can be kept pruned to 1 metre high hedge or let it grow up to 3 metres for privacy. Plant at 1 metre centres. Ideal when trimmed to suit narrow spaces.
For fastest growth...
Dig a wide shallow square hole and dig in lots of composted material, or horse or cow manure. Also mix through soil a handful of slow release fertiliser such as Osmocote. Water at base level every day for first six weeks and from then on keep soil at least moist at all times all year. Add 75mm thick mulch on top on ground around plant. Trim lightly all over several times a year to promote glossy bushy new growth and extra speed.
